My first official bass fishing trip of the year and Lake Berryessa did not disappoint! I love that it’s close enough for me to drive to at 11AM and be able to drive home the same day after a full day on the water. It’s arguably the best lake in Northern CA in terms of how many bass you can catch, Clear lake has it beat by the average size of bass but Lake Berryessa is a close second.
