I Didn’t Expect This in a City Park (Texas Bass Fishing)

I didn’t expect THIS in a city park…

I spent the morning fishing at Landa Park in New Braunfels, Texas, working the Comal River for bass—and it turned into one of those days you don’t forget. Clear water, pressured fish, and some solid largemouth hiding in plain sight.

I was throwing a mix of finesse baits and soft plastics, slowing things down and picking apart the structure. The bite was subtle at times, but once it started coming together… it got fun quick.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you can catch quality bass in a public park—this might surprise you.

Location: Landa Park – Comal River (New Braunfels, TX)
