Goodbye to My Best Fishing Spot.

Saying goodbye to my favorite river spot was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do on this channel, but I’m moving next week and I needed one last chance to connect with this epic branch of the Trinity River… and SLAP some bass, of course.

The 93°F Texas heat almost broke me on this early spring day, but I managed a wild ‘grand finale’ of catches on the Holler Crawler before leaving the Elm Fork behind… perhaps forever.
