Putah Creek Bass Fishing: 25 fish on 1 Lure
Putah Creek was on fire today! I had an incredible fishing experience, catching over 25 fish using a sneaky little worm. Good morning, everyone! It’s Free Spooling Keith here, and I’m back at Berryessa, trying to erase the dirty Delta skunk I had last time. Join me as I share my fishing journey and the secrets behind my success today.
I started off with a 12-inch fish, but soon realized they were biting on the PB&J Fatty Z-Man. The water was clear, the sun was high, and the fish were hungry for something subtle. I didn’t even have to switch colors; when the pattern is hot, you just ride it! I ended up catching a few more, with the biggest being around 15 inches.
Throughout the day, I experimented with different baits, including the mag draft, and had a blast reeling in some healthy fish. While I didn’t catch anything massive, the sheer number of bites kept the excitement alive. I hope my experience gives you some tips on how to catch fish at Berryessa.
