The Maiden Voyage is complete, and I was blessed with a big ole Smallmouth Bass on the Great Miami River here in Southwest, Ohio! Running a crankbait in some slack water next to some fast current was the ticket in tricking this big ole bronze. I was honestly surprised to see this fish so close to the super fast water in sub 45 degree water temps. We are currently in flood conditions in Southwest Ohio, but after that, the fishing will be insane!
