A quick afternoon trip to Belton Lake in Texas in late February to fish for largemouth bass with wacky rig senko baits. Water temps are slowly rising, but the bass have still stayed down fairly deep. Most of the fishing took place in 20-30 ft of water looking for submerged trees, with the bass moving shallower towards the end of the day. The bite was slow and we only had a few hours in the afternoon to have a look around.
