I headed to a local suburban lake to see if I could find any late-winter fish, and I ended up landing an 18lb bag of Largemouth Bass through the ice! From giant marks on the Marcum to heavy hits, this was a day to remember.

In this video, I’m stepping away from the workbench at Lake Monster Lures to put my skills to the test on the hard water. Suburban lakes are often overlooked, but if you know where to look, the giants are waiting. I’ll show you the lures I was using, and the chaos of pulling big bass through an 8-inch hole.
