This fishing excursion to Henry County, MO on 18 Feb 26 takes place in a newly aquired, light weight 3.6 lb Caddis Nevada float tube.
A 5ah Fish Finder Mounts .com mounting system worked great on the small tube and was instrumental in finding the fish.
The Star of the Show was (again) a Z-Man TRD TubeZ, this time in California Craw Color. It was mounted on a 1/15 oz Z-Man Finesse Texas EyeZ jig head.
A nice 20+ inch bass as well as a 14 inch range crappie were the best fish today.
Rudie Tootie, Papillon Angling Adviser par excellance, suggested I best take advantage of the nice weather before another cold snap arrives over the weekend bringing a round of below freezing overnight temps for several days.
When in doubt, take advantage of decent weather in February, even though the water is still cold in the 51 degree range.
