I really thought I’d be able to adjust, but a nasty Florida cold front pushed my bass off the spots I had found, and I just couldn’t readjust.

Fishing the Kissimmee Chain, conditions were extreme for Florida — cold and challenging every step of the way. It was a day that tested patience, persistence, and the ability to grind it out even when the results weren’t what I hoped for.

Sometimes fishing is more about sticking it out and pushing through than about the outcome. This day reminded me of that — learning from every fish and keeping at it no matter what.
