Fishing the California Delta in Late Winter | Looking for the Monster Bass Bite?
Good Evening! Free Spooling Keith here, and I just had an exciting day fishing at the Delta. The water temperature was a pleasant 53 degrees, which is a nice change from my last trip. I was eager to see what the pre-frontal conditions would bring, and let me tell you, it was a mixed bag of little fish and some surprises! I caught a few decent ones, including a couple of 14-inchers, and even a big crappie that wasn’t on my target list but would make a great dinner. I also had some fun moments, like when I almost lost a fish because I was too lazy to grab the net! If you’re thinking about heading out to the Delta, I hope my experience helps you decide. Remember, it’s all about enjoying the time on the water, so keep those lines tight and have fun! Until next time, be peaceful and happy fishing!
