Brutal Bite at Lake Santa Fe | Florida Bass Nation Pro-Am

After 5 years of competitive kayak fishing, I finally fished my first boat tournament — the Florida Bass Nation Pro-Am at Lake Santa Fe — and it didn’t go as planned. I saw big bass all day, threw multiple baits, but couldn’t get them to commit. Cold Florida weather made it even tougher, and I had to grind for every bite I caught.

In this video, I share my tournament strategy, the baits I used, and what I learned about adapting from kayak to boat fishing. If you’ve ever struggled to get bites in tough conditions, this video is for you.

Subscribe to follow my journey as I transition from kayak tournaments to boat tournaments — and see how I handle the grind on the water!

Comment below: What’s the toughest bite you’ve ever had in a tournament? I’d love to hear your story.
