A friend and I hit the water for some cold fishing and one of the best places to find bass are ponds. On this day I had trouble figuring out the pattern, but still managed to catch a few. The water clarity was gin clear with a hydrilla bottom composition. Bass were out on the deepest part of the pond where the water was the warmest.
