This quick session was special for me because it was my first time ever fishing for Bass. I’ll be honest—I didn’t really know what I was doing at first, but I was determined to find out why this river is world-famous.
To reach this spot, I had to navigate a “crazy” path filled with massive rocks and steep drops. It was a scramble just to get to the waterline, but the view was worth every step. The place looked incredibly wild .
Just as I was getting into the rhythm and celebrating my first catch, the energy on the bank shifted. The guys fishing just to my left hooked into a total river monster. We watched an intense 15-minute battle with a fish that was definitely NOT a bass.
