Pre-Spawn Buzzbait Goodness! // Kayak Bass Fishing

The Pre-Spawn buzzbait bite can generally not be underestimated if you just want to go out and get some fun bites through March and into April in Virginia. The finesse plastics were letting me down so we went to the egg beaters. I made these buzzbaits I’m using this trip, and so that made it even more fun. What wasn’t fun, at all, was being fussed at by two people that live along this body of water, so being treated like an ignorant idiot and having threats to have the police called wasn’t the most fun by any means; you can sense my mood turn sour for the last few catches as a result of those interactions. Oh well, they’ll be OK.
