At Heavy Hitters 2025 at Smith Mountain Lake, viewers were treated to a drone shot of Jonathon VanDam just on the verge of busting into a large school of BIG bass. VanDam ultimately didn’t get any casts shallow enough to grab their attention, but he was definitely in the right area, as evidenced by an 11th-place finish.
