Big changes are coming for UK sea anglers in 2026 — the recreational fishery for Pollack is about to be regulated for the first time. The UK government, after pressure from the Angling Trust and other angling bodies, has avoided a total ban — but the new law will introduce a 3-fish bag limit for Pollack (recreational anglers only) from 1 June 2026 at the latest.
