Lake Berryessa Spring Time Bass Fishing | Caught in a BAD storm

Lake Berryessa Spring Time Bass Fishing.. Is it Spring yet? It sure doesn’t feel like it. With another atmospheric river coming through California I thought I would try my luck in between storms. I wasn’t expecting to get caught in the middle of one. Lake Berryessa has been good to me this winter, so I’m not mad about the tough day. Bass Fishing will pick up soon, and hopefully Spring finally shows it’s face here soon! I’m over all this rain.

  1. That's some tough weather!

Berryessa is a lake I fished WAAAAAAYYY back in the 1980s-1990s when I lived in San Francisco. I joined an SF bass club called "The BassHoles." My first trip out was with the Club President. Caught the biggest bass of the day! But I was using trout rods. Al maneuvered the boat which made it possible for me to land the fish.

Haven't been there in 20 years so was nice to see some images of Berryessa!

    Have fun!
