Exploring the Florida Everglades: Fishing, Cooking, & Big Bass!

Join me for a full day in the Florida Everglades, where I combine everything — fishing, cooking, and exploring the wild outdoors!

I start the day testing out my new underwater camera (a gift from my daughter) to see what’s hiding beneath the pontoon, and the artificial night crawler. After a few casts with a bobber and some solid bites, I move to a different location, weather changes and I decide to take a break to cook up a quick freeze-dried meal with my portable stove right by the water.

Refueled and ready, I hit another spot and finally get into some action — landing three largemouth bass, including a beautiful 3.6-pounder. It turned into an awesome Everglades adventure with plenty of bites, and good food.
