Drop Shots and Glide Eaters! Bass Fishing Lake Travis in Late Spring

The Hurricane FunDeck is out of the shop and we have new electronics! We installed a Humminbird Helix 12 fish finder and a Minn Kota Ulterra iPilot with Self-Deploy and this set up is AWESOME! We’ve been using a super old fish finder (pretty much a depth finder) since I can remember so it’s so nice to have better technology including side scanning. The self-deploy Ulterra is seriously a back saver and iPilot has so many cool features we are still learning. Lake Travis has hydrilla now (crazy right) and the fishing has been great. This day a Roboworm finesse worm drop shot near docks and drop offs near main lake was the ticket. Tossing a glide around docks can also produce better fish but I was cursed this trip!
