Came out to Berryessa for some early fall bass fishin’. I thought it was going to be a jigging spoon kind of day, but it turned into more of a junk fishing session. Tried just about everything — jerkbait, big swimbaits, jigs, chatterbait, a few different topwaters — and still couldn’t really get them figured out.

Ended up catching:
2 on the jigging spoon
2 on the drop shot
1 on the Ned rig
2 on the Flag170 (the highlight of the day for sure!)

Fun day on the water, and I can’t wait to get back out there as the fall/winter season really starts to set in.
