Eerie Rainy Day Of Bass Fishing (Jon Boat Nearly Sinks)
Popped Out to one of my favorite lakes in Missouri. This Lake provides free camping, and jon boat access year around. The downside is, the boats occasionally will have holes or ineffective drain plugs making them a big liability especially on a rainy afternoon like this one. I got pretty far down the lake before noticing the hole and the fishing has just began to pick up along with the storm. I recorded as much as I could leading up to the storm. Once the storm hit I was catching bass every cast or 2 but was unable to find enough cover to safely tuck a battery into my go pro without soaking it. Wildest part about the day was that when I was packing up to go home I accidently hooked my middle finger on my right hand with the whopper plopped, barb deep. I took a two hour drive home, and then a 4 hour visit to the E.R. where they had to perform a minor surgery to remove it with minimal tendon damage. Let this be a warning to any anglers using treble hooks, they’re an awesome tool but be careful. Eye protection and patience with fish that have treble hooks are highly recommended! I hope you guys enjoy the content, and subscribe for all that’s coming soon! Thanks for tagging along on another adventure!
