This is my first outing this year (2025) with my mom on their lake. It has been pretty cool up to this point, so we didn’t know how the fish were going to respond, but we ended up having a decent amount of luck. I love catching large-mouth bass, but we caught quite a few that we ended up throwing back because I wanted them to grow a little more before we kept them for eating.

We keep most of our fish because we mainly do this to eat them. I enjoy fishing as a hobby, but I hunt and fish for food. So, we keep most of the fish we catch in these videos, but the little ones still get tossed back.
