🎣 Invasive Largemouth Bass at Sasamat Lake?!

Today I’m out to catch small but feisty largemouth bass from the shore using a Senko worm on an EWG hook, casting out with an ultralight rod and my baitcasting reel.

This lake holds stocked rainbow trout and wild cutthroat trout which I normally target but to my surprise this lake now holds bass. Not only that but ALOT of them. They are an invasive species here which is a bummer to see since they likely wont be helping out the native trout population but they are a lot of fun to catch at least.

You can find them hugging the weeds and logs — and are easy pickings. But somewhere in these waters… the big one is lurking.

Thanks for watching! hope you enjoyed the video!
