Many anglers believe early in the morning and just before dark are the best times to fish for bass in the summer, but the mid-afternoon period can be the best time to catch numbers and quality for a few simple reasons. Longtime professional angler and Ozark Lakes veteran Stacey King shows why he doesn’t even go bass fishing in the summer until around 2 in the afternoon and then breaks down a lot of how and what he does to catch them. This is a great video with lots of fish catching shot from 2-6 pm on a 100-degree day in July. Hard to argue with these results.
