With Team Trail Outdoors introducing a new “5 Bass Livewell Rule”, you must have five bass in your livewell before you can power on forward-facing sonar—and this rule will be enforced by polygraph testing to ensure fairness.

As someone who primarily fishes the Texas B.A.S.S. Nation trail and has also fished the TTO trail for a couple of seasons, I’m glad to see changes that help level the playing field, similar to how other sports set limits to keep competition balanced. That said, like many anglers, I’ll be watching closely to see how polygraph enforcement is handled at events.
