First big bass on my new kayak! St. Johns River bass fishing / Lake Poinsett

I had an awesome day catching my first big bass on my new kayak! I’ve caught big bass before but never in a kayak. Its a whole different ball game when your so close to the fish. The water out on the St. Johns River / Lake Poinsett is supper low right now. That means all the fish head to deeper water like the house canals I was fishing. As you can tell in one area there was a lot of fish grouped up at the mouth waiting for the water level to rise so they can get back out to the lake ( that’s what I’m assuming anyways). More and more afternoon showers are starting to pop up so the lake will be up in no time. Gotta catch the easy fish while it lasts!
