Biggest Bass so far this year! | Kayak bass fishing

Six pound eight ounce largemouth bass from a tiny kayak.

Caught after waiting a few hours for two kayakers to leave the area. I have caught many four plus bass from this specific spot. Unfortunately these two kayakers went straight to the spot and at least one of them stayed there for around three hours. Looked like they were throwing moving baits. My history of large catches on this specific spot is from slow sinking baits only with moving baits catching dinks.

So I went straight in with a Creme stick bait and let it sink…

It is very satisfying to fish after other people and catch a big one. That kayaker in the background is definitely close enough to see, poor fellow. Been there too.
