Do you ever throw these on a owner twistlock weighted hook?
I’ve been using the keitech tungsten ball heads for a long time. You’re absolutely right on the bad hook keeper but another problem is the tungsten on the shank. It tends to crack easily; I’ve always hated that.
New sub. West coast fishing for LMBs in urban creek and SoCal reservoirs.
What took me so long to find this video of yours? Well I guess I am a newbie cause to me this was the small swimbait bible to reinforce a lot of guesswork. Now it's just a matter of putting in the time. Thank you Brian for this one!
Great information bud. I really just getting into swimbait Fishing and it can be really expensive. I've been trying a lot of different hooks, swimbait heads, and underspins and it's good to have some cheaper alternatives. I've been using the vmc heads they are fairly cheap and they look pretty good.
Excellent review thanks 👌
I’m gonna try to get more into this technique once my local lakes warm up
Great Video!!!
PS, I don't recall you telling us which setups you fish your finesse swim baits on??? What you go to rod and reel for this setup??
Any experience with the Xzone Swammers??
👍
Give rhythm waves a try! 3.8” are Smallmouth killers
Thanks for the insights!
Awesome information. THANK YOU!
Thanks for the tips!
great video what rods do you use for this ? thanks for sharing
Great info! Have you tried the nishine lure works smelt heads?
Good Stuff! thanks
Great video! We use alot of 3-5 inch swimbaits for perch over here. But we usally use a technique we call "traditional jigging" where you let the lure sink to the bottom on a tight line, then reel 2-4 turns and let the lure sink back to the bottom on a tight line then repeat. It's incredibly efffective and about 90% of the strikes come on the drop!
