We kicked off the morning with something meaningful — an Autism Awareness walk with my wife’s family. After that, I got the call from the sensei himself, my fishing brother AJ (aka Splinter 🐢🎣), who’s been begging me to throw the plastic lizard for over a year…

So we hit the South Florida canals, armed with nothing but lizards and sweat, and let me tell you — it was BASS AFTER BASS. Even in the brutal heat, these fish couldn’t resist. Huge shoutout to AJ for finally converting me — this was some of the most fun I’ve had fishing in a while.
