Spring Bass Fishing and the Delta Mendota Canal (DMC)

I thought I was ready for bass fishing this year, but bank fishing for bass this spring has not been good. I have gone to several lakes and fisheries and skunked… so much that I stopped taking my GoPro with me. The few bass I did catch, I did not record. Here are the few catches I managed to catch on camera over the last few months. Then, recently I had a day of first experiences: first time at the Delta Mendota Canal, first time punching, and first time landing bass on a bait caster! Definitely made up for the months of skunk! I hope to also finally experience striped bass fishing so wish me luck!
