Kayak Fishing the Newport Coast | Calico Bass Action

I had a short morning window where I snuck out to Newport Harbor, launching off of the Coastguard Beach and headed south out of the harbor entrance. I hit the various boiler rocks for some slow, but productive Calico Bass action. I then headed back in for slow Spotted Bay Bass fishing as well.
Overall, fun day on the water. The sun even popped out for about 5 minutes.
