It’s funny how sometimes a smaller bass can meet more. Although I’ve had bass on crab flys before this was on fly rods and floating rather than a more dedicated “lure”
Interestingly I didn’t retrieve this Creature bait like a crab walking along the bottom but rather it only took the bass off the beach by getting it in some fast moving water.
Then that sandy Andy did find some fish again these were non filming sessions unfortunately so I didn’t get to show the frustrations that were three blanks before I hit in to a good number of fish.
There’s a good amount of 50cm fish around that equate to about 1.5-2lb and these are great fun on light sport.
