I went to Folsom Lake to some late evening bass fishing on 5/3/25. I only had a little time to spare so I headed out to Doton’s point, the area around the beach was too shallow. I was able to land 4 bass on a Keitech swimbait. Cast and retrieve method. I landed one nice spotted bass close to 2lbs, plus a few other small ones.

Bass Setup:
Cabela’s XML Bass Rod 6’6″ M
Daiwa Legalis 3000 reel
Maxima 6lb ultragreen mono
Keitech 2.8 and 3.3in swimbait on a ball head 1/8 jig head.
