Jacob Wheeler took an early lead and never let go, finishing atop SCORETRACKER® with 63 pounds, 5 ounces on 20 scorable bass, more than 9 pounds ahead of second-place angler Wesley Strader and more than 31 pounds clear of the elimination line. However, the main goal today is simply making the top nine to advance since it will be a clean slate tomorrow in the Championship Round; and Justin Cooper made the cut by 4-2 over 10th place with 31-9 on 12 scorable bass.
