Bass Fishing New Melones Lake California 04 30 and 05 03 2025

The Golden Mussel restrictions do not allow me to launch my PA14 from the trailer, and it is too heavy to hand carry. I have been using my inflatable kayak because it is easy to bring to the water. I had to skinny down my gear to make it as light as possible, which meant no GoPro camera or battery. The good news is I had my iPhone and the bass bite is red hot. Here are some videos and pictures from 04 30 and 05 03. I caught 45 fish, mostly spotted bass, with a couple of largemouth thrown in. Sorry about the wind noise.
