In this video, I take y’all out fishing using BFS gear to catch Largemouth Bass! The lure being used is the Nishine Saugeen 40. This little lure is very unassuming. After using it and testing its capabilities, I found it can be used in a variety of ways. It can be slowly retrieved, which will be great in the Winter when the Bass are more lethargic. It can be burned for those times the bass are chasing faster prey. It can be twitched, making it look like a dying baitfish and my personal favorite, it can be can be worked on the top of the water. I found this to be the most enjoyable method. Not only did I get to watch some really cool eats but I also got to get a better feel for what the lure does by seeing it in action.

This lure is another one in my new BFS journey! I’ve always enjoyed working small lures such as this to catch all species of fish. I’ve caught small creek fish and I’ve caught some very large fish using the same small lures. It’s exciting to me!
