Kayak bass fishing in the early morning mist! Spring bass fishing in the PNW.

Spring bass fishing during the prespawn here in Washington state. Fish were very active in the morning and a couple chased down the creature bait I was throwing.

First four fish were caught on a twin curly tail creature bait I created. The earball style lure was made from a Do-it Poison Swingtail Model: PST-6-A. Colored the eyes with a red sharpie and put some UV cure resin over it to make the eyes.

The last three were caught twitching a weightless worm (floating worm). The last fish had leeches all over it.
