  1. Hey Nathan you keep giving all the secrets out that we’ve been guarding roll in trouble lol. I’ve been tying my own gigs for over 30 years but I’ve never used the material you did. One trick when you’re tying your own after you tie your knot Try using a nail hardening solution to firm up your thread. This will also seal it and add life to it where sometimes overtime the wet thread will snap.

  2. Thanks for that tip!!!👊🏻 I make my own jigs sometimes so I have the plastic tube but like the hand tied method as it seems better both on a jig and the ned rig. Merry Christmas & a Blessed New Year!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!

  3. Pretty cool Nathan! I've caught a few big ones on the TRD but, this looks like a bigger meal for bigger ones. Question: how can I keep my Finesse TRD's from bending? I keep them in the original packaging but, sometimes when I pull out a new one, it already has a curve to it. Kinda hard to rig it straight when it's already curved! LOL

  4. Love your channel and the effort you put forth. The skirt is a great idea. Something to consider. On another channel dental floss and super glue is used to keep the jigs on.

  5. This is awesome! I never used a ned rig as I thought maybe It was just alot of hype which happens with rigs that come out that are new I figured a ned rig was just a flattened jig head but this trick has me fixing to try it. I've got a cold water tournament coming up Saturday on the chickahominy river that is a really tough fishery usually 5 keepers will have you in the top 3 if you can get 5 bites and this may definitely help. Thanks brother!

  6. Isn't that the very same bait we saw you use in the last river tournament vid? It really looks good. I used to snip the tail of the TRD about 3/4" till the tickler came out.
