It was a perfect day for kayak fishing Elkhorn Creek in Frankfort, KY. The flow was around 650 CFS, and the smallies were biting! I enjoyed this float in my Nucanoe Flint.

Note: This Twelve Oaks squarebill was the only moving bait I could get the fish to hit all day on this trip. I tried chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, swimbaits, a SPRO Rockcrawler, and a Rebel Craw; but the only moving bait they would hit was this one. This was my first time using a Twelve Oaks lure, and I was impressed.
