SHALLOW Water BASS Fishing (Smith Mountain Lake)

The spawn is officially here! Had a good day on the soft glidebait and caught a decent one on a bed. A couple days later I somehow broke off a BIG BIG one.. 20 pound test snapped like it was nothing. I need to stop being lazy and retie every fish or two! Lesson learned.. she was 6 plus easily, maybe even 7. About 10 seconds later I see my glidebait float up over the brush pile. I was in shambles after that debacle.
