Fishing off Montauk Point in the kayak a day or two before the august full moon 2016 and i have some luck during one of the toughest summer seasons in Montauk in awhile fishing with Umbrella rigs to land a couple big fish.

almost a full moon 1 or 2 days before
hot and humid with a 5mph south wind
end of the flood tide.
Water vis 6-8ft
