Two Lakes, Spring Bass, and Chasing the Bite 🎣 | Lower Otay & Loveland Reservoir

What a week! I hit up two local lakes—Lower Otay Reservoir and Loveland Reservoir—chasing that spring bass bite. The first trip was a boat day with my buddy at Lower Otay, navigating calm waters, tossing everything from jigs to soft plastics, and trying to dial in a pattern. The fish made us work for it, but the grind paid off with some spring bass!

Next stop: Loveland Reservoir. Completely different vibe—shore fishing, solo mission, and back to basics. It was peaceful, quiet, and reminded me why I love this sport so much, even on the tougher days. The bass were a little stubborn, but I managed to get a few on the line and soak in the scenery.

Fishing isn’t always about limits and lunkers—it’s about learning, improving, and enjoying the process. I’m working hard to level up the video quality, storytelling, and commentary so that every upload gets better and better.
