Kayak bass fishing using a Hummingbird fish finder

Out on the water for a memorial for my Mom. Kayak Bass fishing on a 12ft Hobie Compass trying to locate fish using Hummingbird Helix 9 G4N paired with the Hummingbird Chirp Mega 360 sonar, side imaging down imaging and 2D.

The fish were nowhere to be found and with a storm keeping me close to the boat ramp I decided to take a trip around using my electronics, trying to locate fish. If you have experience with the Hummingbird fish finder, please leave any advice in the comments. This is my 4th or 5th trip out with this fish finder, and I’m impressed by the picture quality, but now I need to learn to decipher the images and locate fish.
