50+ Bass ! Welcome to Thirty Island Lake, one of the hidden gems of the Rideau Lakes region just north of Kingston, Ontario.

We launched the boat at 8:00 a.m. under clear blue skies and spent the day exploring rocky shorelines, islands, weed edges and underwater structure. From our very first stop, the action was nonstop.

By the end of the day we had landed well over 50 fish, including plenty of largemouth bass and smallmouth bass, along with perch, bluegill and rock bass. It was one of those unforgettable fishing days where almost every location produced fish.

Thirty Island Lake is part of the beautiful Frontenac region of southeastern Ontario, an area shaped by the ancient Canadian Shield. The lake is known for its exceptionally clear water, rocky islands, granite shorelines and healthy fish habitat. It’s a favourite destination for anglers looking for quality bass fishing while enjoying some of the most scenic landscapes in eastern Ontario.
