When Scott invited Dana and me to spend the day chasing bass on Laurel Lake in Kentucky, he told us that it was usually a tough lake to get the big bass to bite. But since I love defying expectations, I started us off with a 5-pound largemouth. We named him, “Old Tar Tail”, since it looked like he had dipped his tail in something black. Since the boys couldn’t let me show them up too badly, they both ended up catching some nice bass…but I still won the day! 馃檪
It was a cold and windy day with rain squalls blowing through most of the day. Water temp was between 50-55, all fish were caught by slow dragging a jig off of windy points. April 10, 2016
