5 LB Bass Broke my Rod!!! Texas Bass Fishing (ft. LunkersTV)

Day 1 in Texas kicks-off with a bang! Topwater action to start the morning, including a 5 lber caught while walking a frog along a grassline. The bite slowed down once the sun came up but we eventually figured out fishing senkos along shallow grass would produce strikes.

  1. You guys are funny cool and can get hookups. I came here to see 13 envy black rod but looks like you are using the omen. Besides it snapping how do you like it so far. Would you recommend it

  2. Modern fishing rod construction is just pure over priced garbage. I'm going back to glass as I can't get these graphite sensitive rods to last more than a few months and they all break in the same area after they have been out in the sun a few months. I have now seen the same with Tsunami surf rods, St. Croix Mojo, Loomis, Abu Garcia. They all seem to get brittle and snap like toothpicks. Warranty is useless because it costs money to ship the POS back to the factory and stores are of no assistance.
The guy at my store, said that so many break that they would be spending all day shipping them back so the consumer is on their own with this garbage.

  3. Looks like that run had SS Steel guides instead of black oxide. This equals, junk. Sad to see that Ugly Stick Lite is now made with them, bad move Shakespeare….

  4. I've noticed that you call the the 13 omen your travel rod a lot. what is your opinion on the rod? i feel like you think it's just a throw away rod. I'm looking for some new rods in $110 range.

  5. dont boat flip 5 pounder because it broke your rod? instant replay shows u hook someting on ur boat en wen trowing you broke the rod dude. not by flipping in a bass
