Hey bud haven’t been able to keep up with the channel for a couple months.. I had a question about your core tackle hooks made for the hover rig. Me being strictly a bank angler I was wondering if you could give some tips on how to fish that setup from the bank, or can you? I’m fishing mostly bigger ponds and really small lakes. I guess maybe what type of retrieves, what type of structure on the bottom, grass, sand, mud, gravel, boulders etc. maybe what type of baits. Just maybe an overall video on how to maximize your casts when using the hover stroll method. Maybe you could make us bank angler guys a video on how to fish it.. I would really appreciate it. I have learned so much knowledge off your channel and I appreciate it big time. Thanks buddy

Man, I have to brag on the Deep Dive app. for a second- the last time I went to Pickwick, a couple weeks back- me and my brother were having a really tough time, we're not used to cold water fishing- at all. Neither of us have ever done it. So I pulled out the deep dive app. and it recommended a depth, the type of area we should try, and a lure- it was a jerk bait, that was one of the options anyway. But I confess- we didn't really follow it, we kind of shrugged it off and just fished. But- I noticed at the end of the day- the only person to catch anything was my brother- and he caught all 4 in the kinds of areas it suggested, using a jerk bait, at around the depth it suggested. It was dead on- we should've paid it more attention.

I like shallow eddies in the winter on rivers… especially when the sun is out and they can warm up on those shallow flats in eddies. deep water nearby is always good.
