4 AMAZING Swimbaits & Setups For Jetty Fishing & Rock Fishing (Lingcod/Sea Bass)

IMO these are the BEST Jetty Fishing Setup/setups for lingcod fishing, rockfish fishing or ANY predatory species. This jetty fishing rig/setup for saltwater shore fishing is simple for beginners trying to figure out how to catch rockfish from shore or a jetty. I have never caught rockfish so big in my life!!
If you are like most and trying to figure out how to catch rockfish from a jetty or how to catch rockfish from shore, check out the setups and give them a shot. Once i switched to fishing with these baits, my catch rate went through the roof.
I know this could sound like an advertisement but none of these companies are paying me to promote these products. They are simply (in my opinion) THAT effective! I fish these swimbaits with confidence and confidence in your gear goes a very long way when it comes to being successful on the water.
I have used these baits most when fishing jetties, but will work anywhere from shore, especially the Storm Wildeye Swim shad considering how life-like they look and will attract any predatory fish, choosing the right size and weight is up to you.
When it comes to fishing from shore, especially saltwater shore fishing, this is my favorite setup. It’s easy to rig and all you have to do is cast and retrieve, with a few mixups of the action along the way.
Rockfish fishing 2021 has already become a season like no other!

  1. Love your videos! Im chomping at the bit to get back out to the jettty. What length rod do you like to use on the jetty? Im getting a new casting rod but can’t decide between the med. 9’ 6” or the heavy 10’ 6”

  2. still trying to catch that first rockfish off the jetty but appreciate all the advice and experience you share! If you ever are looking for content suggestions, I would really appreciate any extra guidance you have on casting and retrieving to avoid snags as well as how you choose what is the best weight jig head to use for the conditions Thanks!

  3. Awesome page man! I’m a fellow veteran in Olympia, wa and have been following your page for over a year now. I’m a huge fan of your tutorials! I’ve bought all of your recommended keitech swim baits and would love to drive down to the Oregon coast to try and get on some monster black rock fish. I’m wondering if you could help share with me on where you go to land these big ones? Also wondering if you’d like to go fishing on the coast together? For so info on myself you can find the majority of my fishing content on Instagram at @outdoors_ready. Again, thank you for all of these videos.

  4. After watching your video of you catching that monster Rock fish, I had the wife order some of the bunkers. I can’t wait to get out and use them. They should sponsor you. After that video, everyone who watches it is going to start buying them 😂

  5. You couldn’t use a better marketing tactic for the swim shad. lol
I decided to order a pack to try them out. I also grabbed one of the 9”/ 2.75oz. sized ones. Have you tried one of those things yet? I’m thinking I might need a small semi-buoyant float to keep it off the bottom or it’ll be lost on the first cast.

  6. Enjoy watching your videos Nick. Also have purchased numerous lures from you as well. When can we start fishing for silvers and nooks on Sandy and Ckackamas? Hope to run into you one of these days.
