Spent the weekend in Creston, Ia preparing for the first NBAA qualifier at 12 mile Lake. After scouting 12 Mile for a few hours I headed over to 3 Mile to do some fun fishing. Both lakes are very low, but it doesnt seem to be bothering the fish at 3 mile. Extremely high winds had the parking lot empty, but it did not take long to catch a good mess of fish on a chatterbait. I got exactly what I wanted in a good trip fun fishing to get the mojo right for the 12 Mile derby the next day. Tournament video coming soon, but until then enjoy the chatterbait beatdown!
