#1 is mistake is taking advice from Paulie .. he’s be saltwater fishing for 7 years and is trying to charge you the same price as Bill wetzel (30+ years)

Great video but one thing you forgot to mention that's very important is to make sure your hooks are sharp. Hooks will dull over time for a variety of reasons and having sharp hooks will absolutely hook you more fish.
Freshwater guys do that fast pump all the time. They bring the fish in so fast it skims across the top of the water.
